Install & connect

From zero to playing on the NoGame Minecraft server — in four steps.

1. Get Minecraft

Already own Minecraft Java Edition? Open your launcher and skip to step 2.

Don't own it? Install TLauncher — a free launcher that runs Minecraft Java without a paid account.

  1. Download TLauncher from tlauncher.org and install it.
  2. Open TLauncher and pick any name under 'Account' (offline). That name is only local.
  3. Let it download the game files the first time.

2. Install Fabric + Sodium

Sodium boosts your FPS a lot. It runs on the Fabric mod loader.

  1. In TLauncher, open 'Versions' and install the 'Fabric 26.3' version.
  2. Launch that version once so the mods folder is created.
  3. Download our mods bundle and copy the .jar files into .minecraft\mods.
  4. Restart the game — Sodium and the other mods load automatically.

The mods are client-side only — the server works without them, but Sodium is recommended.

3. Set your in-game name

On the site, open Game Settings → Minecraft and set the name you play with. It is added to the whitelist automatically.

4. Connect

Add the server in-game, then log in with your NoGame.ro account password.
